As a child I spent as much time as possible in the world of my imagination. Whether it involved gnome holiday decorations, a stapler & a box of paper, music, or playing with my neighborhood gang, I was there.
I first began to explore painting intuitively as a way to balance the constant demands of motherhood. I discovered that it was also a way for me to let go and reconnect with my imagination. When painting, I do not feel the need to know what to do next or what the outcome of each step should be.
From this place of the unknown my paintings emerge and evolve. Creating the story.
